CUHK Health Exhibition Presentation Competition 2026
Since 1988, the Health Exhibition has been one of the annual flagship events organised by the Medical Society, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Supported by the Faculty of Medicine, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, this competition aims to provide a valuable research opportunity for secondary school students to foster their understanding of health-related issues. The theme this year is "Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Reproductive Health".
A team of five Form Five girls entered the competition with a research topic "Rationale and Feasibility of Three-Dimensional Bioprinting Endometrial Patches Using Menstrual-Blood-Derived Stem Cells for Asherman’s Syndrome Repair" and won the Gold Award. Installation Ceremony
On 22nd September, our annual Installation Ceremony convened in the School Hall. Student leaders from the Prefects’ Board, Student Association, Houses, Sports Teams, Music Groups, Drama Groups, Dance Group, Debating Teams, School Magazine, Girl Guides and Christian Fellowship ascended the stage to receive their badges from our Headmistress, Ms. Leung. It was a gesture symbolising the School’s recognition of their dedication for the year ahead.
As our leaders solemnly pledged their commitment to serving their teams and exemplifying steadfast guidance, the weight of their responsibilities was keenly felt. Yet, as our Head Prefect, Winky Ng, reminded us, true leadership does not demand solitary and flawless endeavour; rather, it requires the fortitude to lean upon one’s teammates. Only through mutual trust and respect may each team forge its path to success.
Following the singing of the school song and the ceremonial passing of torches, resounding applause heralded a new chapter for Heep Yunn. May our student leaders be endowed with compassion and resilience throughout this transformative year.

Inter-House Swimming Gala
On 15th September 2026, our annual Inter-house Swimming Gala was held at the newly renovated Kowloon Tsai Swimming Pool, culminating in a brilliant showcase of dedication amid sparkling waters and energetic applause.
Students and teachers gathered to support our swimmers, who demonstrated unwavering commitment and set a total of eight new records: three team records and five individual records. Among these outstanding achievements, Li Sum Yiu (6B) broke the 50-metre freestyle record, while Li Cheuk Yiu (6A) and Ho Pui Yan (5B) broke the A Grade 100-metre backstroke record, displaying exceptional talent and a drive for distinction.
Throughout the event, the stands erupted with enthusiastic cheers as students showcased their immense support for their respective Houses and classmates, culminating in Hok House clinching the overall championship.
We were honoured to welcome Ms Simmi Chan, a professional squash player and distinguished alumna from the Class of 2018, as the Guest of Honour. Her gracious presence and inspiring remarks enriched the occasion and underscored the spirit of excellence that defines our school community. The Swimming Gala brought our school community together in a celebration of camaraderie, sportsmanship and shared achievement.
