Having been suspended for two consecutive years, the annual Inter-house Swimming Gala returned in its finest glory. On 13th September 2022, all our students and teachers gathered at the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool with vibrant enthusiasm to attend the long-awaited event.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, our swimmers have been training tirelessly, without which their outstanding results would not have been made possible. The climax of the day was for certain the inter-house relays. As swimmers leapt into the pool and swam with all their might, the cheering teams chanted the name of their own House. It was a fulfilling moment as everyone applauded and cheered for their swimmers in high spirits.

For this year’s Swimming Gala, we were very honoured to have invited Mr. Choi Wing Wah as our guest of honour. He was former Chairperson of the Parent-Teacher Association of Heep Yunn School. As former coach of our school’s Swimming Team, he was keen to remind us about the benefits of swimming and the precious lessons the sport teaches us — teamwork, perseverance and responsibility.
