| 10. | It is rumored that HYS intends to make use of the autonomy in admission granted by DSS to stop admitting HYPS students. Is that true? |
After turning DSS, the new admission requirement will be consistent with the guidelines currently adopted by HYS. In other words, the admission quota for each F.1 class will be largely the same, accommodating a total of 36 students each class (Note: According to the guideline for a DSS school, the total admission quota can increase to 41 students). We estimate that when 5 classes of F.1 are open for admission, the student quota will be 180 in total. In addition, the school will continue to select students principally based on their learning attitude, irrespective of the family’s economic background. |
