The annual blood donation day organized by the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Centre was successfully held on 16th January 2019.

Knowing the dire shortage of blood for patients in Hong Kong, our students and teachers participated in the blood donation enthusiastically. Thanks to the staff from the Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Centre, the blood donation held in the School Hall went smoothly and all blood donors recovered very quickly. It is hoped that their meaningful acts have made a great contribution to the local blood bank and are able to help save lives. The generosity and compassion of our students are certainly laudable and have well shown the giving spirit of Heep Yunn Girls.

We hope this tradition of donating blood will carry on and that more students will participate in the blood donation next year.
