Shortly after the Inter-house Athletics Meet, teachers and students gathered once again, this time at the Kwun Tong Swimming Pool for another annual event – the Inter-house Swimming Gala on 13th September.

 

As the opening ceremony commenced, Girl Guides, house captains, and student officials marched in, kicking off a day filled with excitement. Our swimmers gave their all, pushing their limits in each competition and breaking several records along the way. The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the inter-house events, where swimmers worked together with their teammates to bring pride and glory to their houses. Meanwhile, the Form One cheering teams provided unwavering support, their enthusiastic chants echoing through the arena and filling the stands with energy.

 

This year, we had the honour of welcoming Ms. Elaine Chan, a former Hong Kong swimming representative in the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games, as our guest of honour. Ms. Chan shared her experiences as a student-athlete at Heep Yunn, recalling how she balanced intense training sessions with packed schedules. She excelled not only in swimming but also in discus, embodying resilience and determination.
