Typhoon Yagi cleared up just in time for students and teachers to gather at Wan Chai Sports Ground for our school’s annual Inter-house Athletics Meet on 9th and 10th September.

As in previous years, our athletes demonstrated exceptional sportsmanship and competitive spirit on the track, breaking records and winning prizes. Both athletes and non-athletes alike participated with enthusiasm, embodying the Heep Yunn spirit. While the competitors reaped the rewards of their hard work, our Form One girls cheered with unwavering energy, their loud and firm encouragement echoing across the field. The day concluded on a high note with the Fun Run from the Form Six girls and the Inter-team relays.

We were honoured to have Ms. Cheung Ching Nam, a distinguished alumna from the Class of 2019, as our guest. As an elite high jumper in Hong Kong, her journey to success is nothing short of inspiring. She shared her story of perseverance, emphasising the importance of balance in life and urging us not to let things slip.

The success of the Inter-house Athletics Meet would not have been possible without the hard work of our teachers, student officials, and staff. Their dedication ensured the smooth running of the event, creating cherished memories for Heep Yunn girls.
