Introduction
Heep Yunn is dedicated to delivering quality, holistic Christian education as laid down in its Vision and Mission statement. To this end, the School provides a comprehensive, broad and balanced curriculum that aligns with the guidelines set forth by the Education Bureau. Leveraging the flexibility afforded by our DSS status, we offer school-based curriculum for both junior and senior levels. Our aims are to promote lifelong learning, instil a spirit of public service in our students, cultivate a global mindset along with national identity, and nurture the next generation of leaders with vision and virtues.

Combinations of DSE elective subjects
The school provides a wide and balanced spectrum of DSE elective subjects for students to
choose from. In the latest selection for Form 4 electives conducted in July 2024, 65 combinations
of the main elective subjects were offered from the 140 possible combinations. 70.9% of the
students were offered their first three choices.
Other Languages Education
French, Spanish, Japanese and Korean as Elective Subjects
Alongside the commitment to build a firm foundation in Chinese and English among students, the School also collaborates with external institutions to offer foreign language classes. Interested students may choose one elective Foreign Language from French, Spanish, and Japanese at school starting from Form 1, with Korean being an option starting from Form 4. They are encouraged to sit for the respective public examinations from Form 4 to Form 6.
Other Examination
To widen students’ exposure and gain international accreditation, students have the option to apply to take the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examinations.
